Placemat Pillow

I've been wanting to make pillows for my bed, but I never could decide on colors. Tuesday that all changed when I was in Target and  found this awesome placemat!

It has every color in my room; blue, yellow and green. Basically, It's perfect, especially the price tag!

Who can resist $1.98 for the casing of a pillow? Not me!

{TUTORIAL}

Once I got home I used my seam ripper and began opening up the side of the placemat

I then used some left over batting (fake snow from Christmas) and began filling it.

After one quick swipe through the sewing machine I had this lovely pillow! 

As you  can tell this is VERY simple. If you don't own a sewing machine you could also use heat bond or tacky glue.
