Jewelry Board

Another snow/ice day means more crafting projects for me!!

I decided to tackle a new jewelry board. I made one last year that I absolutely love, but it's just too big for my space right now.

This last weekend while at a Rummage sale (look for photos later in the week of everything I bought) I found this pretty good frame for $5.00

I forgot to take a picture of it before I spray painted it white (I only had a few hours where the paint would actually work). After I painted it I sanded it down a bit to give it a more rustic feel. I then went to the recycling upstairs in search of a cardboard box. FOUND ONE!

Next step was to cut a piece to fit the back of the frame.

I then pulled out my handy snow stuffing I got during the Christmas Clearance at Michaels and started to hot glue it to the cardboard
Picture
Once that was finished I ironed the fabric I wanted to use and began hot glueing it over the "snow".

I then got out my handy-dandy staple gun and began stapling the cardboard to the frame. Normally I would have just made it to be like the back of a picture frame, but I didn't have long enough staples and obviously I'm not going anywhere in this crazy storm!
Picture
Once that was complete it was time to hang it on the wall (interesting with concreate walls) and begin putting my accessories on!
Picture
Almost done....

It's a lot to fit onto that little board, but I think it fits MUCH better in my space!
